Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is adding a part-time Security Officer to support Michigan locations. The role includes customer service, site patrols, access control, and emergency response duties, with a focus on safety and professional conduct.

The job requires standing, lifting, and compliance with all client and company policies. Shifts run Thursday through Saturday with flexibility to reach up to 39 hours per week. This is a non-armed position; weapons are not permitted on premises.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required or to be obtained.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• No felonies or certain misdemeanors per Michigan law requirements.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and coworkers.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and security presence in lobbies and reception areas.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as assigned.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify IDs.
• Respond to emergencies and provide CPR/First Aid/AED care as needed.
• Coordinate with client staff and site supervisor on communications and requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
