Job summary

Allied Universal® in Horicon, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Security Officer – FLEX to provide reliable, flexible hours at a designated site. The role offers a base schedule with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while building experience in a national security leader.

The position pays $21.50 per hour, requires a valid driver’s license and high school diploma, and includes training, safety protocols, and career growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by policy.
• Experience with access control or badge systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage through visible patrols and timely reporting.
