Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Hattiesburg, MS. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with an option to pick up extra shifts through our platform. You will perform unarmed patrols, guest assistance, and emergency response while maintaining safety on-site.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to identify hazards and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and entry procedures.
• Document incidents and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.
