Allied Universal in Ellisville, MS is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol to provide reliable security services at a designated site. The role offers flexible scheduling, with a fixed-anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Starting pay is $12.36 per hour, with daytime hours listed as 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This position is ideal for individuals seeking part-time hours, income stability, and a pathway toward full-time

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18 years or older for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at a utility-related industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, controlling entry and exit points, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
