Qualifications

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.
