Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry in El Segundo, CA. The role offers fixed shifts with options to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, and a base pay of $23.36 per hour.

This position provides customer service at the site, access control, and incident response, with opportunities to grow into a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service following site procedures and policies.
• Operate access-control procedures and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures.
• Maintain awareness of site security and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation; maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems; report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site emergency procedures and notifying required contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, buildings, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
