Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Field Observation in Detroit, MI. The role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and an option to earn more by picking up additional shifts across multiple sites.

Pay rate is $18.50 per hour, with a schedule that includes Daytime shifts and the ability to scale hours up to 40 per week. This position emphasizes customer service, on-site security procedures, and calm incident response.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies; assist with emergency response when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environments vary by client site.
