Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Denver, CO. This flexible, part-time role offers reliable anchor shifts with options to pick up additional shifts and grow toward full-time opportunities.

You will help maintain safety at a distribution center, perform access-control duties, and respond to incidents while ensuring customer service at the site. This position includes benefits and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while enforcing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or exiting the location; maintain records.
• Monitor access points, gates, and entry systems; report unauthorized access and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols and document observations of the business perimeter and loading areas.
