Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Incident Response in Columbus, OH. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings while maintaining a reliable base schedule.

Pay rate is $19.75 per hour. The position is designed for part-time work with opportunities to scale up to around 40 hours per week and to work across multiple client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Screen individuals and belongings per site procedures using approved equipment.
• Verify authorized access and report prohibited items or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
