Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol in Columbus, IN. The position offers flexible, reliable hours with fixed anchor shifts and an option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

The role focuses on customer service, access control, patrols, and incident response at a manufacturing site. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour with daytime and evening shifts and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, incidents, and/or observations as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Help maintain an orderly work environment by observing compliance with posted site rules and reporting hazards, damaged property, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
