Job summary

Allied Universal in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, customer-focused security at a busy retail site. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will deliver courteous customer service to visitors and staff, conduct regular unarmed patrols, monitor for unusual activity, and support access control and incident response

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) age requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols at the retail site.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report hazards.
• Respond calmly to incidents following site procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor interactions.
