Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Authorization in Ashburn, VA. Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and access permissions.
• Maintain visitor logs and report access discrepancies or unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents and follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, lobby areas, and the perimeter.
