Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Ashburn, VA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, up to 40 hours per week when desired.

The position features a pay rate of $22.36 per hour, part-time hours, and opportunities to grow into a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff per site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and direct guests, deliveries, and contractors per site policies.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and shift handoff communications with professional presence.
