Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time in Romeoville, IL. The role offers flexible, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $19.04 per hour. The position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles, with a high school diploma or equivalent and successful background checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients, drivers, visitors and staff.
• Experience with security-related screening procedures and emergency response activities.
• Willingness to work part-time and pick up additional shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security screening procedures and following site policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, and personal property entering designated areas; report concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas; report hazards and unusual activity.
