Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed at our Houston, TX site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through a scheduling platform, designed to provide reliable hours and potential growth to full-time work.

The position pays $15 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license (per job requirements).
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols inside the retail location.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity or hazards to leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures.
• Assist with access control and maintain professional presence.
