Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in China, MI. You will provide customer service at a utilities location, perform fixed shifts, and have the flexibility to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

The role offers a stable part-time schedule with potential to build toward a full-time week. We value reliability, strong communication, and a commitment to safety while delivering high-quality security services.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Available for last-minute shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and utility-related infrastructure.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain logs and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and security-related issues observed during patrols or while assigned to the location.
