Job summary

AFG Enterprise Services in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to join the team. The role runs Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, at our downtown Cincinnati office, with base pay of $21.00 per hour.

You will patrol, monitor security systems, control access, respond to incidents, and coordinate with emergency services. Must have high school diploma and certifications AED/CPR and First Aid; also maintain a valid driver’s license and concealed carry license as applicable.

Qualifications

• Certification in AED/CPR and First Aid required.
• Must maintain current firearms-related qualifications where applicable.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Concealed carry license may be required per role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to deter intrusions and ensure security of the premises.
• Operate and monitor security panels, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services.
• Manage facility access and verify authorized personnel.
• Maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Provide potential ground safety for Flight Department operations.
• Offer executive transportation/security escorts when needed.
• Enforce security policies and procedures; participate in ongoing training.
• Possess AED/CPR/First Aid readiness and respond as first responder.

AFG Security is looking for a Part-Time Security Officer to join their team. This individual will work out of our downtown Cincinnati office. The work schedule is Saturday/Sunday, 1st shift (0700-1530).

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Conducts regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure building security.

• Operates and monitors security control panels, alarms, and surveillance systems to identify and respond to potential security breaches.

• Responds promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Collaborates with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services as required.

• Manages access to the facility by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.

• Maintains accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

• May provide ground safety and security on behalf of the Flight Department.

• May provide executive transportation/security escorts and participate on Executive Protection details.

• Enforces company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all employees and visitors.

• Participates in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with security practices and technologies.

• May obtain a valid firearms license and may be required to carry the firearm on duty.

• Serves as a first responder and maintains Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid Certifications.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Work Schedule: Saturday/Sunday

• Base Pay - $21.00/hour

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Generally, 0 to 4 years of related experience.

• Maintains certifications for AED/CPR and First Aid.

• Maintain a valid Driver\'s License and a satisfactory driving record.

• Must be comfortable driving full-sized SUVs with passengers.

• Obtain and maintain a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License.

• Required to complete annual firearms qualification.

• Must have a personal cellular phone with active plan.

• Will be subject to pre-employment drug screening and potential quarterly random drug screening.

• Must be physically able to sit for 8 hours on post if working in the Operations Center.

• Must be physically able to walk upwards of 11 miles in a given 8-hour shift if working as the Roving Patrol Officer.

• Must be able to physically perform 2 straight minutes of CPR on the ground.
