Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for the Downtown Cincinnati office. The role involves safeguarding premises through patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to security incidents on Saturdays and Sundays 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, 0-4 years of related experience, and be CPR/AED certified. A valid driver’s license and firearms qualification may be required for certain duties.

Qualifications

• Regular patrols to deter unauthorized access and detect security issues.
• Operate security control panels, alarms, and surveillance systems to identify breaches.
• Respond promptly to incidents and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to restricted areas ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
• Maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Provide first aid, CPR, and AED as needed and participate in ongoing training.
