Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Newport, NH. This role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts across multiple sites.

Pay rate: 22.66 per hour. The schedule includes a Friday shift from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the position is designed for part time work with the option to scale up toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required access and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and policy violations to help support a controlled workplace environment.
