Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Boulder, CO. The position offers flexible, fixed anchor shifts with a weekly commitment and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings. The role includes customer service at an aerospace/defense site and requires a DoD Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
A valid driver’s license required.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background investigation and drug screen required.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location.
Conduct fixed and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report access-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
Prepare clear and accurate reports and maintain activity logs.
