Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Broomfield, CO to provide customer service and support emergency response at a secure aerospace/defense site.

Responsibilities include dispatching calls, monitoring alarms, and maintaining logs. Requirements include active DoD Secret clearance, HS diploma, and background checks as per laws. Driving roles require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Background checks and drug screening are required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting emergency response activities at a controlled aerospace and defense location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and incidents to appropriate personnel in accordance with post procedures.
• Monitor communications systems, access-related activity, and alarm notifications, escalating concerns to site contacts or emergency services as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving while maintaining clear communication with personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, and support regular and random patrol coordination.
