Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for an aerospace/defense site in Washington, DC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide customer service, verify credentials, and respond to security-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence.

The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to complete background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace/defense location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
