Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 21+ for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing visitors and contractors as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities using required systems and documentation.
