Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Daytime Plant Patrol in Denison, IA. Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening are required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities using required reporting tools.
