Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Daytime Plant Patrol in Denison, IA. This part-time role focuses on unarmed security patrols, customer service, and incident response within a food production/welcome setting.

The position supports flexible scheduling and uses our shift-claim platform. You will patrol facilities, monitor access, document activities, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
