Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Peoria, IL. This part-time role focuses on safeguarding clients across manufacturing and industrial settings while delivering professional customer service.

You will patrol, control access, respond to incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The position emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and reliable service in a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, manage visitor/contractor entry, and report access concerns.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
