You will verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence while delivering reliable security services.

As a part-time role, you will follow established procedures, conduct patrols, complete incident reports, and coordinate with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or public agency personnel by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying emergency services or management when appropriate.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate daily activities, incidents, and access-control observations to leadership and site representatives.
