Job summary

Allied Universal in Reston, VA is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Clearance Required Patrol Inspection. The role is designed to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $24.62 / Hour.

Schedule includes DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM. This role requires a six-month anchor commitment and offers an Earn More, Claim-A-Shift

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
