Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for MOORESTOWN, NJ. You will provide unarmed security, customer service, and access control at an aerospace/defense site, building a visible presence and reporting incidents.

Active DoD Secret clearance is required, with state or local license preferred. The role offers flexible daytime shifts and competitive pay, plus opportunities to grow within a national security leader.

Qualifications

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document entry and exit activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
