Job summary

KRE Security LLC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Pottstown, PA. The role focuses on exterior patrols, observation, and teamwork to maintain a safe environment for staff and clients.

Shifts run Saturday/Sunday from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, with emphasis on dependable, calm performance and clear communication. We value empathy, patience, and strong teamwork; training and opportunities for advancement are provided, along with benefits like PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills are essential.
• Security experience is a plus, but the right attitude and work ethic matter.
• Willing to obtain Phazzer non-lethal CEW certification as required by the site.

Responsibilities

• Exterior patrols of the property, grounds, parking areas, and designated areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
• Work in pairs as required by site procedures.
• Support client staff during challenging or difficult situations.
• Respond to disturbances, security concerns, and other incidents.
• Observe and report unusual or potentially unsafe activity.
• Help maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with client personnel and your security team.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Follow site-specific post orders, procedures, and client requirements.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications and clearances.
