Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Tempe, AZ to safeguard clients across healthcare and other facilities. You’ll deliver excellent customer service, maintain a visible presence, and support a secure, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

You’ll work daytime hours with a flexible schedule, perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as part of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state or locale.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings and parking areas to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations and needs to site personnel and leadership professionally.
