Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Badge Issuance in Detroit, MI to safeguard clients across industries. Build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform while delivering customer-focused security and maintaining logs, access control, and incident records.

You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents with professional, clear communication to support daily operations in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
