Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Protection in Detroit, MI to provide reliable, scheduled hours and optional extra shifts. This role offers a flexible, dependable option to supplement income or progress toward a full-time career.

The position includes a fixed anchor shift, the Earn More program, and duties such as patient, visitor, staff support, patrols, access control, and incident reporting, with benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or concerns.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or responding personnel.
• Support access control activities by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as directed, and assisting with visitor management procedures.
