Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per law and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and policies at an automotive location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
