Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Yaphank, NY. You will provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff while performing security procedures, patrols, and access control.

You will respond to incidents calmly, document observations, and escalate issues per site protocols. A high school diploma, background check, and ability to work evening shifts are required. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as per law.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store staff following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the retail location, including entrances and perimeters.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and theft.
• Document observations and communicate with supervision and site contacts.
