Job summary

Allied Universal in Garner, NC is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Badge Enrollment). You will protect clients across technology, media, and telecom settings, monitor access points, process badges, and respond to incidents with professional customer service.

You can build a flexible schedule with DayTime Fri, Sat, Sun 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The role includes training, growth opportunities, and access to exclusive tools and Perks through our program.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.
