Job summary

Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver with Secret Clearance. You will patrol, deter incidents, and support security operations at an aerospace/defense location, using customer service and communication skills.

The role offers daytime and weekend shifts, $25.59 per hour, and opportunities to earn more with our shift-claim platform. A DoD Secret clearance, one year security experience, and a valid driver's license are required; CPR and guard card

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required only for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and entrances.
• Monitor access control and verify authorization.
• Document observations and communicate findings to leadership.
