Allied Universal in Santa Ana, CA is hiring a part-time Security Officer with a focus on building access control for cultural institutions and related facilities. You will serve visitors, monitor entries, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents while upholding a welcoming environment.

The role offers mix shifts and a pay rate of $23.25 per hour, with the opportunity to explore new shifts using our Claim a Shift platform and advance within a national security team that values

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, members, staff, and vendors at a cultural institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public galleries, staff spaces, and entry points.
• Monitor visitor activity and enforce exhibit rules and access controls.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with professionalism and reporting.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports accurately and promptly.
