Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Registration in Westlake, TX to serve clients across industries. You can build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform and explore new roles while contributing to a safe, professional environment.

You will monitor access points, conduct routine access-control activities, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication in a team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required per local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institutions location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site policies.
• Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming environment while communicating clearly with employees, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership.
