Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Houston, TX. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, assist with badge and visitor processes, and provide exceptional customer service while using technology to document activities.

This role emphasizes visible security presence, teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care on a manufacturing/industrial site. Daytime shifts available with flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet preferred.
• AGE: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, docks, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to maintain orderly entry/exit for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and promptly.
