Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Badge Services in Columbus, OH. You will provide security presence, manage access, and support customer service for a tech/media/telecom location.

Role emphasizes patrols, incident reporting, and credential verification. Minimums include a high school diploma, 18+ for unarmed roles, and background check/drug screen requirements.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor security-related systems, cameras, and communications equipment as assigned; promptly report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
