Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to join our team at a manufacturing site in Nashwauk, MN. You will provide access control, monitor entrances, verify credentials, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

This role offers weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM) and a pay rate of $18.25 per hour, with training and growth opportunities. Applicants must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at an industrial site.
• Monitor and control access points; verify credentials and logs.
• Respond calmly to incidents and notify site contacts and responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, parking areas, and perimeter zones.
• Document daily activities and access-control exceptions accurately.
