Job summary

Allied Universal in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to protect clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and deliver professional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

The role offers a fixed weekend schedule (Sat/Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM) and a pay rate of $26.01 per hour. Candidates should have at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and be capable of using a computer or

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience.
Customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing as required by state/local laws.
Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries.
Monitor access points and verify entry authorization according to site policies and visitor procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate information to leadership.
