Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Patrol Access Verification) in Manassas, VA. You will provide security, patrol assigned areas, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service in a collaborative team environment.

The role offers flexible part-time scheduling, with a pay rate of $22.15 per hour, and opportunities to learn new shifts and grow within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control and badge experience, preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, perimeter, and exterior areas.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and vendor entry processes.
• Document observations and incidents, and communicate to site management.
