Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Credential Verification) in Hanover, PA. You will manage access, greet staff and visitors, verify credentials, and support a professional environment at a food and beverage location.

The role features a flexible schedule with shifts, opportunities to explore new roles via our Claim a Shift platform, and a focus on teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, manage access, and maintain records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter.
• Report unusual activity and facility conditions to site contacts and leadership.
