Job summary

Allied Universal in Louisville, KY is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with driver credential verification responsibilities at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will manage entry points, verify IDs, monitor access, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays; pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required in state where job is located.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying identification, issuing visitor and contractor credentials, maintaining access records, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, inspect authorized deliveries in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
