Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, and report observations through established procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and directions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
