Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated's Turfway Park Racing & Gaming in Florence, KY is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the 2nd shift to help maintain a safe and secure environment for team members and guests. You will monitor access to restricted areas, assist in transporting money, respond to incidents, and support communications with guests, while meeting the required education and licensing conditions.

Availability includes weekends, holidays, and nights.

Qualifications

• Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the team members and guests.
• Assisting in transporting money.
• Controlling access to restricted areas.
• Reacting to guest and team member incidents and accidents.
• Monitoring passage in and out of gaming facility.
• Reporting safety hazards and conditions.
• May answer incoming calls and direct questions.
• May operate a company vehicle with a valid Driver's License.
