Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit in Menasha, WI is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to help protect people and property while delivering excellent service.

The role includes access control, patrols, incident reporting, and de-escalation in a fast-paced environment. Must be 18+,HS diploma or GED, and able to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Experience with de-escalation and conflict resolution helpful.
• Prior security, law enforcement or military exposure is a plus.
• Must have strong attention to detail and remain alert during shifts.
• Must be able to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control at security entrances and exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports of incidents and observations.
• Collaborate with team to meet site and client goals.
• Carry out tasks similar in scope as assigned to the site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
