Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Ankeny, IA. The role pays $23.00 per hour and follows a Fri schedule with additional hours possible, focused on maintaining a safe environment through access control, patrols, and incident reporting.

Responsibilities include conflict resolution, customer service to employees and guests, and adherence to post orders. Candidates should have a HS diploma and strong communication skills, with CPR and safety certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Safe Driving and CPR certifications needed.

Part-Time Security Officer

Primary Location: Ankeny, IA

Wage: $23.00/HR

Schedule: Fri: 1630 - 1830; 2200 - 0600 (with possibility for more hours)

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:
